“a sinewy deer suspended above bitumen rubble. Rosalind Lemoh has assembled the animal from a graphite graphite-coated taxidermist’s mannequin...This once noble, heraldic creature, now naked even of its own hide and hoisted over broken road, appears as a kind of portent:the escaped stuffing of a museum specimen caught in an unnamed catastrophe.”
